Partnerships

In our times, China has re-entered the world stage as a powerful and dynamic actor.  It is evident that she wishes to have and will have increaing influence in our globalised world.

Culltural Exchange with China wishes to build bridges of solidarity between peoples of faith of China and the UK, especially between the Catholic Churches of both countries, as we try to keep a Gospel perspective alive and active in a world driven by a globalised economy.

The Churches of both countries have dynamic histories to draw on and share with one another in a mutually respectful manner.  There has been a resurrection of the Christian Churches in China, and all faiths, in the past twenty five years and they have much to share with the world about their fidelity to the Gospel during very difficult times.

In parnership, we can be stonger together to face the demanding, challenging and  exciting task of living the gospel of Jesus Christ today.  As with Jesus, our task continues to be the proclaimig of the Good news of God, but now in a  modern globalised world as it seeks new direction and meaning.
